ABSTRACT
This article analyzes the dismissals of soccer coaches in the German Bundesliga. A random parameter logit model is used to analyse what characteristics are associated with the probability of a coach to be laid-off, taking into account uncontrolled heterogeneity of the database. Policy implications are presented.
